Dear Friend of Siuslaw High School Football: 

 

My name is Sam Johnson and I am the Head Football Coach at Siuslaw High School.  It is a privilage and a pleasure to have this opportunity to help develop young athletes into responsible community minded leaders. Siuslaw football is special to me.  As a former player, I know first hand how this program can have a positive impact on the life of a young athlete. I am writing to ask you to help me in making this program the very best it can be.  As I am sure you are keenly aware, budgets for school activities have been impacted significantly over recent years.  The football program has been no exception.  Your name was provided to us by one of the current football players on the Siuslaw Football Team that has suggested you might be able to help us.  

 

The upcoming season is quickly approaching, and we continue to make great progress as a program, large due in part to the financial generosity of our friends. In order to achieve our goals, we need your financial support.  Every year the football program experiences significant expenses.  With your support, we will be able to purchase new helmets that are on the cutting edge of safety.  We will be able to replace our shoulder pads over the course of the season.  In the upcoming year we are looking to purchase new practice equipment that is used for a number of different purposes during practice. 

 

I am asking you and/or your company to consider making a financial donation to the football program of any amount that you can.  We have established different levels of giving and will recognize all donors in the fall football program and on our website during the season as well as gift the items included in parenthesis for each level.  The giving levels are the following: 

 

1st Down Club  $10 -- $99 (name in program) 

 

Field Goal Club  $100 -- $249 (name in program, Siuslaw FB T-Shirt) 

 

Touchdown Club  $250 -- $499 (program, T-Shirt, and Siuslaw FB Hat or Car Sticker) – Business name, and logo on Siuslaw Football

All League Club  $500 -- $999 (program, T-Shirt, Hat, or Car Sticker, 2 sideline passes to a home game) – 3x5 company color banner hung at all home games, business name, logo, and link on Siuslaw Football website 

 

All State Club  $1000+ (program, T-Shirt, Hat or Car Sticker, coaches ¼ zip, 2 sideline passes to a home game) – 3x5 company color banner hung at all home games, business name, logo, and link on Siuslaw Football website 

 

*Please make all checks payable to Siuslaw High School Football.  Please remit donation payments to the attention of Sam Johnson, Head Coach at Siuslaw High School, 2975 Oak St., Florence, OR  97439.  Please indicate shirt and/or jacket size on memo line of check and whether you would prefer a hat or car sticker.
