Siuslaw physically outplayed Elmira the entire game. A few missed tackles in the final minutes allowed Emira to jump ahead and hold onto the lead.

Siuslaw started the game sluggish and finished the half down 19-0. After regrouping at halftime, the Viks came back with a vengence shutting down the Warrior's offense and putting together some successful drives.

It was not a pretty win, but a win nevertheless. The Viks fumbled the ball four times. Both teams committed numerous penalties. Siuslaw scored seven touchdowns but failed to make any two-point conversions. The Cubs took advantage of the Viking's missed timed jumps for the ball to score two of their touchdowns.

The Viks struggled with tackling in the first three quarters but greatly improved when they needed it most. In the fourth, the Viks made two key stops to seal the victory.
